Daniel Smith

Daniel Smith is a Managing Director at Indago Capital LLC. Prior to Indago, Dan worked as an Investment Analyst at Och-Ziff/ Sculptor Capital Management. During his tenure at Och-Ziff, he specialized in Mortgage Loans, Mortgage-Backed Securities (MBS), Credit Risk Transfer (CRT), and other Asset-Backed Strategies.

Before joining Sculptor, Dan served as an Associate at Hudson Advisors, the investment advisor to Lone Star Funds, where he focused on credit investments in residential, asset-backed, and specialty finance opportunities.

Dan began his professional career as a Quantitative Analyst at Fannie Mae. He holds a degree from George Washington University.
